Developing better college readiness counseling programs in is a key to achieving our national goal of increasing postsecondary education access and success according to a new research paper from NACAC. The paper, authored by Mandy Savitz-Romer,  addresses a key shortcoming in school counselor preparation programs at institutions of higher education—the absence of pre-service training in college readiness counseling.
